During my 20+ years of working in the field I saw that knowledge sharing is still limited within the disciplines of Purchasing and Supply Chain/Operations. Especially practical
knowledge/experience sharing is still lacking as the "re-invent the wheel" syndrome still rules. For sure plenty of theory books available but the newcomers and even more seasoned professionals are still in the need of practical support to keep up with the required speed and dynamics the modern industry has to deal with to stay ahead of competition.
